Hmm, so what inspires me? ^.~ Good question. Here's a brief list of stuff that inspires me to write.
Music - this is the main thing. I listen to music while I write, generally. I really love listening to music, and it helps me concentrate! The type of music I listen to generally reflects itself in my writing. But not always. Sometimes I'll put a CD on constant repeat, and sometimes I'll put one or two songs on constant repeat, if I wanna capture the mood in the music. Here's a list of songs I listen to and the type of emotion I use.
Iris, by the Googoo Dolls: I had this on constant repeat for the first part of Love Until Death! ^.^ It's obviously a very romantic song.
Unforgivable Sinner, by Lene Marlin: Another somewhat romantic song, but not particularly. It's just good.
Yubiwa, by Maya Sakamoto: This is the opener to the Escaflowne movie, I think. Very slow, very wistful. I listened to this while Aya told Ken he'd always love him in Love Until Death.
Perfect Stranger, by Koyasu Takehito and Miki Shin`ichirou: Whee, hard rock. =D I listen to this when the boys are out catting around or are in the shop. ^.~
Kami wa Taisetsu na Mono Kizutsukeru, by Koyasu Takehito: This works well with dramatic scenes and fight scenes. Dark rock. I adore this song. The live version is almost better than the studio version, because there's more guitar. XD
Tsuiseki, or the music box of Beautiful Alone: This pretty song plays in the background during most tender moments during the anime, Weiß Kreuz. I adore this song, and thusly I listen to it when I write tender moments. Same goes for the real version, too. A friend of mine also mixed one of a flute and the music box, and a flute and the off-vocal version. Pretty pretty. I really love the flute.
Well, that's all I'm putting here for now, although I really could go on and on about the music that inspires me. ^^;;
